James Next Stop Louisiana

STM wide receiver Jordan James is having a solid senior season. James will be among part of a group of football prospects scheduled to visit Louisiana's Ragin'Cajuns this weekend.

Jordan James has his share of college programs in pursuit of his service this fall. The 6-3, 200-pound athlete is being recruited by Tulsa, Louisiana, Tulane and Ole Miss. James spoke with the Cajun RedZone about his offers and his visit planned this weekend.

Which programs have been pushing for your services the hardest?

"Tulsa and UL have been calling me the most, Jordan stated." "There are several others, but those two are really pushing me to visit right now."

What has Tulsa told you about their program and how you would fit in their offense?

"They like to spread the ball around in the passing game, Said James." "Demarus Johnson is playing as a true freshman and he scored 3 td's in one game. They will graduate two seniors at the receiver position and the coaches told me that I could come in and play as a true freshman."

What is the latest from Ole Miss, Texas A & M or Georgia Tech?

"I haven't been hearing as much lately from Georgia Tech, Ole Miss and Texas A&M," Jordan stated." "Ole Miss told me that they would get back to me, so I will see what happens with them."

Where is James headed this weekend?

"I'm coming in to visit at UL this weekend for homecoming, said Jordan." "My dad (former USL TE Calvin James) will be attending the game with me Saturday."

What have the coaches at Louisiana told you about their program and how you would fit into their system?

"The coaches told me that they will throw the ball more next season and be more balanced in their approach with Brad McGuire at quarterback, James stated." "They feel I would have an opportunity to play as a true freshman with Chery and Smith graduating after this season."

What has your dad told you about play at UL here in Lafayette?

"My dad wouldn't mind me staying home and play at UL, said Jordan." "It would be much easier on his health not having to travel to watch me play in college."

"Dad told me that the decision is mine to make and he will support me no matter what college program I sign with, James added."
