Warmsley Enjoys Louisiana Visit

St. Michaels DE prospect Julius Warmsley visited Cajun Field this past weekend. What did Warmsley have to say about his visit and the game?

St. Michaels DE was part of a large group of high school football prospects that attended the Ragin'Cajun homecoming game this past Saturday at Cajun Field. The 6-2, 240-pound athlete with a 4.65 forty, is high on the Cajun board at the DE position. The Cajun RedZone spoke to Warmsley about his visit to the swamp and his current recruiting status.

Julius how was your visit to the game and did you enjoy the atmosphere?

"I really enjoyed the game, Warmsley said." "The crowd was great and it was great to watch the ceremony for Fenroy. It's unbelievable that he has rushed for over 4,000 yards in his career."

With offers on the table from UL, Tulane, Army and Louisiana Tech, where do the Cajuns fall?

"I like the program; it's definitely a place I could play at, said Julius." "Right now, I plan on taking all my visits. But I do have UL on my list of final schools."

What did the coaches say to you after the game?

"Coach Bustle told me that I could commit to them Saturday if I wanted too, said Warmsley." "They like me a lot and my offer is on the table right now."

After watching the UL and Louisiana Tech defenses play this year, how does he view each one?

"I like the way the Cajuns move their DE's around on defense and attack, said Julius." "Tech stands their DE's up sometimes and play's them down at times, but the Cajun defense reminds me of what we try and do at St. Michaels."

Warmsley plans on returning to UL later this fall and he will remain a top target for the Cajun coaching staff.
