Jordan Bodenheimer Plans Visit

The Ragin'Cajuns are planning to bring in another large group of prospects for the UTEP game. St. Paul linebacker prospect Jordan Bodenheimer will make a return trip to Lafayette with several teammates.

St. Paul LB Jordan Bodenheimer is not a household name when is comes to high school football prospects, but programs such as SMU, TCU, UL and ULM have shown interest in the 6-1,225-pound senior. Jordan has scheduled a return trip to Lafayette this weekend, along with teammates Nathan Quick and Chris Gensler. So why is Jordan Bodenheimer returning to Louisiana for another visit?

"I really like the UL program, said Jordan." "I enjoyed the visit for the Arkansas State game, so it was easy for me to come back in to watch the Cajuns."

One of the reason's Jordan likes UL is his relationship with Coach Troy Wingerter.

"Coach Wingerter is always offering me encouragement, said Bodenheimer." "He has given some advice on improving my play on the field; I really like him."

Coach Wingerter is not the only one to give Jordan instruction; his father Kirk coached him through middle school.

"Dad talks to me at times during the game and tells me what I'm doing wrong, explained Jordan." "We talk after the game about the things I need to work on and the areas I need to improve in. He is always straight up with me."

Jordan has scored an 18 on the ACT earlier this year, but plans to retake the test to raise his score. He currently has a 3.5 GPA in his core curriculum.

Cajun RedZone will have more on this weekends list of visiting prospects soon.
