At 6-3,300-pounds, Kyle White could help the Cajuns on either side of the ball. White is having a solid senior year, with 8 QB sacks in a hurricane shortened season. With a 360-pound bench press and a quick first step, Kyle has wrecked havoc on opposing offenses. Kyle White really likes the Cajun program and is waiting for the staff to offer him.
"I told the coaches that UL is the place I really want to play, said White." "I've spoken to Coach Hudson and Coach Broussard, and I'm willing to play on either side of the ball. But I just want to be part of the Ragin'Cajun program."
How much of an influence has former teammate and friend been on your view of the Cajun program?
"We speak quite a bit, Kyle said." "We had a really close friendship in high school, kind of like a brotherhood. Derrick said they have the same type of brotherhood mentality at UL and are having fun playing together."
Kyle has had interest from Louisiana Tech and ULM, but has received some attention from another program lately.
"I haven't heard much from ULM or Louisiana Tech lately, White stated." "UCONN came by school this week and picked up some highlight film on me from coach."
What did the coaches tell you after the game Saturday?
"They were pretty upset after the game, Kyle said." "Coach Wingerter told me that they will come down and see me play in the next few weeks. But, I'm going to try and make it back in for the last home game."
Kyle scored a 20 on his first ACT test and currently has a 2.3 GPA.
