Kyle Huber Waiting for Offers

Jesuit High center prospect Kyle Huber visited Louisiana this week for the Middle Tennessee game. Did Huber enjoy the visit and did he leave with an offer?

Kyle Huber decided to accept Coach Wingerter's invitation to come up and visit the Ragin'Cajun football program Wednesday night. The 6-2, 290-pound lineman was recently named to the 10-5A All-District team for a second time; Huber was a member of the 2007 team as well. Kyle spoke the Cajun RedZone about his visit to Lafayette.

"We really didn't have the chance ride around the university, but the football facilities look nice, said Huber." "I like the UL football program."

Kyle is familiar with the Lafayette area and community.

"My family and I evacuated to Lafayette after hurricane Katrina, Kyle said." "I spent two weeks at Lafayette High and I really like it. Lafayette would be a good place to spend my college years."

What did the coaches have to say about extending an offer?

"The coaches told me that they are waiting on several offers right now; with one scholarship going to Ashton Tyler, there are only two available this year, said Huber." "Coach Wingerter told me they will get back to me soon and I plan on coming back up later."

Kyle Huber has scored a 23 on the ACT and maintains a 3.0 GPA, so garnering interest from other programs is not a problem.

"I've gotten interest from SMU, Southern Miss, Southeastern and other state schools, stated Huber." "SMU and Southern Miss have told me that will get back to me, and Southeastern said that they would call to offer me this weekend.
