OL/DL Jimmie Colley of Pace High School in Florida is the latest athlete to schedule an official visit for January 30th. The 6-3,260-pound lineman has scheduled official visits to Louisiana, ULM and Florida Atlantic.
"I scheduled my official visit to Louisiana in January, said Colley." "The coaching staff hasn't offered me yet, but they did tell me that they want me to come in on an official visit."
The Cajuns have two commitments now on the offensive line presently in Ashton Tyler and Robert Robinson which leaves only one scholarship available right now for an offensive lineman.
"The coaches told that they are waiting on several offers out there right now, Jimmie said." "I've played mostly on the defensive side of the ball this season."
Collie was amongst the group of prospects that visited for the Florida International game earlier this fall. How was the visit?
"I really enjoyed the visit, said Colley." "The facilities are nice and I like the coaches are pretty nice as well."
What side of the ball does the Cajuns like Jimmie Colley on?
"The staff is looking at me on the offensive line right now, Colley stated." "I have an offer from Florida Atlantic right now at the defensive line position."
Jimmie Colley was recently named All-County, All-State and is scheduled to play in the PSA All-Star game in Pensacola, Florida. Colley is also scheduled to play in the prestigious North-South Florida All-Star game as well.
