Miller, Bello set visit to Baylor

Is the recruitment of teammates Quincy Miller and Deuce Bello shaping up as a two-horse race between Louisville and Baylor? The talented duo visited the Cardinals last week, and set up a visit to Baylor next month after meeting with Scott Drew Thursday at 12:01 a.m. Thursday marked the first day college coaches could visit with prospective student-athletes off-campus.

Baylor coach Scott Drew paid a visit to Quincy Miller and Deuce Bello Thursday in North Carolina and convinced the duo to visit Waco next month. Bello, who visited Louisville last week, told InsideTheVille.com that he and Miller will visit Baylor together October 2.

Interestingly, Drew made an initial visit with the duo at 12:01 a.m. Thursday morning. Thursday marked the first day college coaches could meet with prospects off-campus. Bello said Drew then visited the pair Thursday morning at their school.

"He said he's ready for [us] to come on a visit," Bello said. "He just talked to my mom mostly."

Louisville hosted both players on a visit last weekend. The Cardinals are considered the favorites by many recruiting analysts to land Miller and Bello.

"They're still in the picture, definitely," Bello said. "I'm just going to Baylor to see all of my options. My mom didn't want me to miss anything and to make sure I'm making the right decision."

Rick Pitino is expected to visit both players next week in North Carolina, but Bello wasn't sure about those plans.
