Rodney Purvis, who was rated the nation's top 2013 shooting guard nationally before recently re-classifying to the Class of 2012, told Scout.com's Evan Daniels that he plans to visit Louisville in October.

Rodney Purvis, who was rated the nation's top 2013 shooting guard nationally before recently re-classifying to the Class of 2012, told Scout.com's Evan Daniels that he plans to visit Louisville in October.

Purvis visited Xavier last week, and attended Duke's midnight madness Friday night. Purvis, a 6-foot-2, 175-pound guard, will check out the Cardinals next week.

"I have a good relationship with Tim Fuller because he used to do the Nike stuff," Purvis said. "I give him a call two times a week and we chat it up a little bit."

"We have a good relationship, but it doesn't help with the decision," he added. "He's not even trying to lure me or anything like that, it's just a good relationship that we have."

Purvis isn't expected to make a decision in the near future and lists Duke, Memphis, Louisville, Kentucky, North Carolina, Xavier, Texas, Wake Forest and Virginia Tech.
