Elkino Watson, a rising defensive tackle prospect from Miami (FL) Booker T. Washington, is also expected to make an official visit to Louisville. Watson, 6-3, 275, is rated the No. 87 tackle prospect nationally, but should see that ranking rise after scouts watch his senior game film. Watson, who was recently selected to play in the Nike South Florida All-Star Football Game, is expected to visit Florida State later this month.
Watson, a three-star prospect who earned offers from Florida and Florida State with tremendous play on the field this season, was supposed to make an official to Florida this weekend. But with the Urban Meyer's resignation earlier this week, it appears Louisville swooped in and convinced Watson to visit this weekend, though his high school coach couldn't confirm the visit Friday morning.
Louisville also is expected to host Miami (FL) Central standouts Charles Gaines and John Miller. Miami Central plays in the state semifinals Friday night and they have won 12 games in a row. Gaines, a three-star wide receiver, and Miller, a two-star offensive lineman, have verbally committed to UofL.
And while he doesn't hail from Miami, three-star Port St. Lucie, Fla., cornerback Terrell Floyd will make his official visit to Louisville this weekend. Floyd verbally committed to Louisville this season.
