Dubose, 6-4, 240-pound, could fill a need for Louisville on the defensive front. The Cardinals have enjoyed recruiting success at Dubose's high school, landing a few players from Northeast in recent years.
"I'm going to Louisville next weekend," Dubose told Scout.com analyst Mike Bakas. "They got a couple good commitments from down here this year and they're in need of defensive linemen."
Louisville has landed several prospects from south Florida the last two years, including five-star quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and three-star wide receiver Eli Rogers from Miami (FL) Northwestern this year.
"At 6'4, 240, he has ideal size and there are not many guys his size who have his pure, raw athleticism," said Geoff Vogt of SunStateFootball.com.
Dubose, rated the No. 32 defensive end prospect in the nation, says he's keeping things open heading into his visits this month.
"It's all even right now," he said. "I'm going to take all my visits with an open mind and sit down after my last one and figure it all out."
