Ehrlich, who recorded 160 tackles as a junior while helping his team to a perfect 16-0 record and the Texas 5-A state championship last year, says he's interested in Charlie Strong's program. Ehrlich has maintained communication with Louisville defensive coordinator Vance Bedford in recent weeks.
"Louisville is a good offer, I liked it," Kendall Ehrlich said. "I've been talking to Coach Bedford on Facebook a lot."
"I don't t have anybody on top, but I like Baylor and Louisville," Ehrlich said. "I've visited Houston, and I think I'm going to make a few visits this summer. I know I'm going to Waco to see Baylor this week. I like Baylor because their linebacker coach talks to me a lot and they're in Texas and closer to home."
Though Baylor has an edge because of its location, distance won't be the major factor in Ehrlich's decision. "I just want to find the right place," Ehrlich said. "I want a good atmosphere with good fans and coaches. I'd like to commit before the season starts."
