"I'm coming down [Friday]," Rogers said. "Coach [Dave] Borbely's been wanting to get me back down there. I went down there for spring practice but I didn't really get to see everything because we had to get back [home] and my dad wasn't with us. My dad and my mom are going down with me [Friday] and we're going to see the whole campus."
Rogers has picked up ten offers this spring, including from Louisville, Cincinnati and several Mid-American Conference programs. Since his last visit to Louisville in April, Charlie Strong's coaching staff has maintained frequent contact with the nation's No. 12 center prospect.
"Things have been going really well with Louisville," the talented offensive lineman said. "I've been talking to Coach Borbely every week and Coach Strong once in a while and Coach [Vance] Bedford every other week."
"Cincinnati really wants me to visit and check [their campus] out, but I don't have any other visits on the calendar," Rogers said. "I just really want to get down to Louisville."
Where does Louisville stand?
"They're definitely on the top of the list," Rogers said. "It's a great school. I really like what they're doing down there, and I really like Coach Borbely. I like the program and it's pretty close to home. It's really appealing to me."
"I'll probably make a decision closer to the beginning of the school year," said Rogers. "I'd like to make a decision before the football season."
