Joe Manley, a 6-6, 305-pound offensive lineman from Bowling Green H.S., plans to visit Louisville and Kentucky in early July, before deciding between the two in-state schools.

A three-star prospect rated the 47th-best offensive guard nationally, Manley has maintained regular contact with both coaching staffs.

"I've been talking to Kentucky and Louisville," Manley said Thursday. "I'm going to visit both schools in the coming weeks. We start practice July 11 so I'm going to try to visit them before that. I was planning on committing in June, but I wasn't able to get up to the campuses."

Manley visited both programs during the spring, and keeps in contact with Louisville coach Charlie Strong, offensive coordinator Mike Sanford, and assistant Dave Borbely.

"I talked to Coach Strong today," Manley said. "It went good. He just wanted to see when I was going to come up and bring my mom because she hasn't seen the campus yet."

Manley's upcoming visits could serve as the decisive factor in his recruitment.

"Kentucky and Louisville are both good schools," Manley said. "It's pretty even between them. It will be how I fit in with the team and coaches and the atmosphere and after you graduate the job placement [opportunities]."
