BUZZ: One of the top points in the nation, Dunn raised his stock with a strong July. Dunn is a top target for several ACC and Big East programs, including UConn, Louisville, Providence and Marquette. Long, athletic and hard to contain off the bounce, Dunn has the size, quickness and athleticism to become a standout in the Big East.
DANIELS SAYS: "Kris Dunn is a guy that had a TERRIFIC July and will make a run at the No. 1 lead guard spot in the 2012 class. He's long, athletic and fast with the basketball. Rick Pitino watched him a bunch in Orlando and he's a guy that will likely turn it up on. Connecticut would likely be the school that will be toughest to beat, but I did spot the kid wearing a Louisville hat following a game and in the airport."
BUZZ: [Rozier] was great at the LeBron James Skills Academy and then followed it up with another solid performance at the Peach Jam. The athletically gifted point guard has been fielding offers ever since the end of the early evaluation period, and now is becoming a priority recruit for high-major schools. Rozier's athleticism and ability to beat defenders off the dribble combined with his energy and shot making made him a very popular target for coaches. – Scout.com
DANIELS SAYS: "Terry Rozier is another lead guard prospect Louisville has made some headway with. He's playing his best ball right now and really picked up a lot of attention during July. It started at the LeBron James Skills Academy, where he was terrific, and lasted throughout the rest of the month. Prior to July, Cleveland State and Cincinnati were the leaders, now he has a number of high majors trailing him, including Louisville."
BUZZ: Reese is a quick, left-handed point guard who can score in a variety of ways. A natural scoring point guard, Reese worked hard this summer to become a better floor leader and get his teammates involved offensively. One of the elite guards in the country, Reese is drawing strong interest from top Big 12 programs, Louisville and others.
DANIELS SAYS: "J-Mychal Reese is a guy Louisville is in the mix with. But the question remains about his father and if he will try and take a college job [as an assistant]. Word is he turned down an opportunity to coach at Texas A&M. Kansas and others are involved."
