Mason County athletes receiving visits

With as many as five potential Division I prospects preparing for their senior seasons at Mason County, a number of regional programs have recently stopped by the Maysville, Kentucky school.

Defensive end Andre Turner, quarterback Dustin Grutza, wide receiver Chris Lofton and linebackers Jordan Murray and Bryan Sweet headline a talented group of seniors to be at Mason County. With that much talent it is no suprise that a number of area coaches have been making their way to the school.

DE Andre Turner

Louisville Assistant Head Coach Greg Nord has made the short trip to Maysville, as have coaches from Purdue, Indiana, Kentucky, Wake Forest and Eastern Kentucky.

Fresh off an impressive performance at the recent NIKE Camp in Blacksburg, Virginia, Grutza received a phone call on Sunday from Northwestern coaches. The talented quarterback has also been chosen to participate in the Elite 11 quarterback camp in Stanford, CA.

Andre Turner (6'2, 235) also turned an impressive performance at the Blacksburg NIKE Camp. Turner made an unofficial visit to the Cardinals football complex earlier this spring.

WR Chris Lofton
With the exception of Chris Lofton, who has received a number of offers for his basketball abilities, none of the players have yet to receive written offers at this point, but that is certain to change over the coming weeks.
