Livingston shines at TOC

6'7 PG Shaun Livingston from Peoria, IL put on quite an impressive performance Friday night at Cameron Indoor Stadium on the Duke University Campus.  Livingston, one of the nation's best high school basketball players, led his Fort Sooy No Limit squad to an impressive and convincing victory over the Florida Hoopsters to open pool play.

Livingston, who includes Louisville in his current top 5,  may be the best player in his class because of his size and multitude of skills.  He's a pure point guard that does it all.  Livingston has tremendous feel for the game and an uncanny ability to find teammates and deliver the rock with slick, effortless passes.  Livingston is truly one of the special passers of the basketball in the high school ranks.  He's got tremendous reach, will rebound and block shots in the paint and gets after it on defense with active hands.

Livingston doesn't have to take lots of shots or score a bunch of points to have a major impact.  Although he is tremendously gifted on the offensive end of the court.  Friday night he dunked hard several times, nailed a three from the baseline, knocked in an impressive pull up jumper from the elbow, and converted at the foul line.

All told, Livingston had 15 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals, and 2 blocks.  Very impressive outing for Shaun Livingston at the Tournament of Champions.
