Abraham Garcia, a three-star offensive lineman from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., was one of two official visitors for Charlie Strong's program this weekend. Before heading back home Sunday afternoon, the 6'6, 330 pound Garcia spoke with InsideTheVille.com about his visit.

"I had a very nice visit," Garcia said. "I would say the visit exceeded my expectations. I liked the campus and the stadium. It was a really good visit."

Garcia, who is being recruited by Clint Hurtt, enjoyed meeting several members of Charlie Strong's coaching staff during his visit, including offensive line coach Dave Borbely.

"He reminded me a lot of my high school coach, which is good," said Garcia. "It was good to finally meet him. The coaches talked about the depth chart and how I could help them. They're young, but have a lot of talent."

Garcia attended Louisville's loss to Pittsburgh Saturday afternoon at PJCS. Afterward, he hung out with his official host, senior offensive tackle Hector Hernandez.

"I enjoyed hanging out with Hector," said Garcia. "I felt comfortable being around the players and coaches. The visit gave me a better idea about what it would be like to play for Louisville."

Garcia said he plans to make other visits before making a college decision, though he doesn't have any other trip scheduled at this point.
