4-star Harvey-Clemons will visit Louisville

Charlie Strong received big news this week. Josh Harvey-Clemons, one of the nation's top prospects, will make an official visit to Louisville this month. InsideTheVille.com has the latest.

Josh Harvey-Clemons, a four-star linebacker from Valdosta, Ga., will officially visit Louisville Dec. 16., his grandfather, Woodrow Clemons, told Jason Higdon Sunday afternoon.

Whether or not Charlie Strong can pry Harvey-Clemons, 6'4, 210, from Georgia, Florida or Florida State remains to be seen, but the fact that Louisville will get a visit from one of the nation's top prospects is significant news for the Cardinals, who won a share of the Big East title this season.

Rated the No. 3 OLB nationally, Harvey-Clemons was unsure if he was going to visit Louisville, but a visit from UofL assistant coach Ron Dugans last week convinced him to at least check out the Cardinals before choosing a college.

Harvey-Clemons will also visit Florida (Dec. 9), FSU (Jan. 13) and Georgia (Jan. 20). Georgia is thought to be the team to beat for Harvey-Clemons.
