Cardinals land second commitment for 2004

Donta Smith has decided to become the second member of the 2004 recruiting class for Rick Pitino's Cardinals.

A day after Donta Smith told ITV that Louisville was a school that he would definitely want to attend, he made the decision to do just that.

InsidetheVille.com has learned that the 6'7 swingman committed to the Cardinals on Tuesday. Smith, who attends SE Illinois Community College, was chosen as a first team NJCAA All-American following his freshman season.

Smith joins PRP senior to be Terrance Farley (6'10, 195) as a member of the 2004 recruiting class.

Stay tuned to ITV for more on Smith's commitment to the Cardinals.
