Ohio Center Visits UofL
Agnew, considered a four star recruit by TheInsiders.com, toured the UofL campus, participated in several unsupervised scrimmages and met with Coach Pitino during his visit to the Belknap Campus.
Aaron has dropped thirty pounds this spring and currently checks in around 330 pounds. He is extremely dedicated to improving his game and has enrolled the services of a personal trainer to help with his conditioning and weight control regimen.
Despite his size, Agnew runs the floor well and is incredibly nimble for a player his size. He has a soft touch around the basket and is a fantastic passer from both the high and low post. He has excellent footwork, shows solid low post moves and gets good elevation off the floor.
Agnew averaged 20 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocked shots as a junior and was named to the second team All-Ohio squad by the Dayton Daily News.
He's followed up his excellent junior season with a solid spring and has seen his stock increase significantly. Last week, Agnew impressed recruiting gurus from across the nation as he was named to the "Cream of the Crop" Top 20 Game at the Pangos All American Camp against some of the top competition in the country.
Agnew told TheInsiders.com at the Pangos All American Camp that Dayton, Xavier, Duquesne and Pittsburgh have each offered scholarships.
He'll travel to Virginia today where he'll play against the nation's top high school players at the NBA Players Association Camp. After the NBPA, Agnew will attend the Adidas ABCD Camp and then head west for the Adidas Big Time Tournament in Las Vegas.
We'll have more on Agnew's visit later this week. Stay tuned to ITV....your #1 source for UofL recruiting coverage.
