A four-star recruit, the 6'2 Rozier advanced to the finals of the three-point and dunk competitions, which will be held at halftime of Friday's Derby Classic at Freedom Hall. Rozier, one of four finalists in the three-point contest, scored 15 points to advance. Rozier also led the way in the dunk contest after the first two rounds.
In the two on two, Rozier teamed with Pittsburgh-bound center Steve Adams. Rozier and Adams defeated Andrew White (Kansas) and MeKale McKay (Arkansas) in the first round, before falling 13-11 to Phil Forte (Oklahoma State) and Robert Carter (Georgia Tech) in round two. Tyler Lewis and Amile Jefferson won the 2 on 2 championship.
Rozier will compete against Forte, McKay and Danrad Knowles (Houston) for the three-point title. Rozier, Jakaar Sampson (St. John's), Marcus Smart (Oklahoma State) and Sam Dekker (Wisconsin) will all compete in the dunk contest finals.
