"Things are good with Louisville," McClinton said. "I talk to Coach [Kevin] Keatts every week probably. We have a good relationship and I've visited Louisville about three times. Everything is good with Louisville and, of course, Anton Gill committed and me and him are pretty good friends."

The skinny 6-foot-6 McClinton said Keatts told him he'd fit well into Rick Pitino's pressing system.

"They tell me all the time that I fit their style of play and I would be great in their system," said McClinton. "Coach Pitino's a great coach and he would help me evolve as a player."

While Louisville continues to maintain communications, McClinton says that Missouri and former Cardinals assistant Tim Fuller have increased recruiting interest recently.

"I've been hearing from a Missouri a lot lately and they've offered," McClinton said. "I talk to Coach Fuller about twice a week. Coach Haith came to the gym to watch me work out not too long ago.

"It's a good program, they did well this year and play a fast-paced game I think I'd fit in. Coach Haith is a good coach and a real cool dude."

Besides Louisville and Missouri, McClinton says he's also been hearing from Xavier and Wake Forest.

"My Top 5 is Xavier, Wake, Louisville, Mizzou and Georgia Tech," McClinton said. "Those are the schools that I like the most."

McClinton claims offers from each school and said he'll "probably" visit Louisville, Missouri, Wake Forest and Xavier this summer. In the meantime,'s No. 10 rated small forward plans to continue to get stronger and improve his outside shooting.

"I'm trying to gain some weight and add some strength and work on my shooting," McClinton said. "Those are the two things I will work on the most right now."
