While four members of Louisville's 2012 recruiting class enrolled in January, most of Charlie Strong's new recruits just finished high school. This weekend, several of those recent graduates arrived at UofL to begin summer school and preseason workouts.

Keith Brown and James Burgess, two highly ranked linebackers, enrolled at Louisville in January and participated in spring practice, as did JUCO tight end Ryan Hubbell and safety Gerod Holliman.

Tuesday, all but five members of Charlie Strong's 2012 recruiting haul reported to campus to begin classes during the first summer school session. It was an eventful first official day for Louisville's newcomers, who started the day with a 5 a.m. 'initiation' run before heavy rains caused on-campus flooding that cancelled the first day of classes.

While most of Strong's 2012 recruiting class has arrived on campus, the Cardinals are still awaiting the arrivals of Georgia TE/DE Larry Jefferson, Charlotte LB Nick Dawson, Indianapolis OL DeAndre Herron, Miami WR Brandon Snell and Miami DT Pedro Sibiea. Jefferson is taking summer courses and plans to enroll at UofL in July.
