"He [Quentin] got a chance to go in there and watch the workouts," Scott Snider told InsideTheVille.com. "He watched the individual workouts for a while and then he got to meet Montrezl Harrell, Keita Bates-Diop, Malek Harris and Jordan Mickey. So it was nice to get to meet those guys."
With so many top uncommitted prospects in town visiting the Louisville program, Snider wasn't the main focus for Rick Pitino. Still, the Louisville head coach made a point to spend a few minutes talking with his future point guard.
"Coach Pitino said he heard Quentin had a strong spring and told him to keep working hard," Snider said.
Snider also said that 2012 recruit Montrezl Harrell, who was joined on his visit by his dad and Hargrave coach A.W. Hamilton, made a strong impression.
"He has a lot of swagger to him," Snider said. "He has a lot of confidence just sitting around talking to him. He's not cocky, but he knows he's good. He knows he's a player..just the aura around him. He's not quiet like some kids are when they get on campus. He's going to be an outspoken guy like Chane [Behanan]. He reminds me of a throwback player like Charles Jones from the 1980's…a 6'8 guy that plays like he's 6'10. Just a jumping-jack."
