Cards set to report for camp

Football season has arrived. The University of Louisville football team reports for fall camp on Thursday. Check out a few key dates for the program.

The Cardinals have been working out all spring and summer, but the full team reports for full fall this afternoon.

Preparations for the upcoming season will begin on Friday evening with the first practice for the team. Practices on Friday and Saturday will be opened to the public and fans are invited to come out and check out the action.

The Cardinals will practice on Friday at 5:45 p.m. and Saturday at 11:30 a.m. on the grass practice fields next to Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.

All fans are welcomed to the practices.

U of L will then go behind the closed fences for practice the rest of the fall camp until the season-opening kickoff on Sept. 2 at 3:30 p.m. against Kentucky.

The Cardinals are the preseason favorites to win the Big East Conference will have their annual media day next Wednesday.
