Friday night highlights

The University of Louisville football team has nine commitments in the Class of 2013. Here's a look back at how those players fared – and a few other targets - last weekend with their high school teams.

Kyle Bolin, QB, Lexington Catholic: Bolin completed 21 of 40 passes for 362 yards and four touchdowns in a 41-23 win over Madison Central. Bolin hit nine different receivers in the contest.

Chandler Bridges, OT, Flowery Branch, Ga.: Bridges helped pave the way for the first win of the season for Flowery Branch, a 45-27 win over previously unbeaten Cedar Shoals.

Corey Cooper, WR, Raleigh, N.C., Millbrook: Cooper caught six passes for 196 yards and two touchdowns in a 30-16 loss to Broughton.

Donel Elam, LB, Orange Park, Fla., Fleming Island: The Golden Eagles remained undefeated with a 42-0 win over Middleburg. There were no stats available for Elam.

Shamar Johnson, OL, Pensacola, Fla., Pine Forest: Pine Forest is 1-1 after a 17-14 loss to Niceville. Johnson is playing tight end and defensive end for Pine Forest and has one touchdown catch on the season.

Skylar Lacy, OL, Indianapolis Southport: Lacy helped open holes for a huge Southport win, a 56-33 decision over Bloomington South.

Jacarthy Mack, DE, Lithonia, Ga., King: King won its 13th consecutive regular-season game with a 29-28 win over Mays.

Terrence Ross, S, Apopka, Fla., Wekiva: Wekiva is now 0-3 on the season after a 29-8 loss to Dr. Phillips.

Keith Towbridge, TE, Toledo, Ohio, Central Catholic: Towbridge caught one of the five touchdown passes thrown by QB DeShone Kizer as Central Catholic whipped Clay 56-19.

Here are a few U of L targets highlights:

James Quick, WR, Trinity (2013): Quick had 10 catches for 74 yards in a 14-13 win over Cincinnati St. Xavier. He now has 230 catches for 3,578 yards and 47 touchdowns during his career. He ranks No. 4 in career receiving yards and No. 4 in career receptions and No. 4 in career TD receptions in state history.

Drew Barker QB, Conner (2014): Barker completed 32 of his 47 passes for 371 yards and three touchdowns and also ran for a pair of scores as Conner edged Campbell County 35-28.

Devin Hayes, QB, Bowling Green (2014): Hayes completed 11 of 21 passes for 121 yards and one TD in a 31-3 win over Owensboro.

Nacarius Fant, WR, Bowling Green (2014): Fant had four catches for 58 yards in a 31-3 win for the Purples over Owensboro.

Davion Jackson, RB, Henry Clay (2014): Jackson ran 11 times for 43 yards and scored two touchdowns in a 53-36 win over Clark County.

Phillip Francis, S, Central (2014): Francis had three tackles and returned an interception 25 yards for a touchdown in a 28-6 win over Western.

Donald Styles, S, Central (2014): Styles had nine tackles for the Yellowjackets in a 28-6 win over Western.
