A 2015 prospect from Cleveland (OH) Villa-Angela St. Joseph's, Bragg is a rising 3-star prospect with great athleticism and reach. He runs the floor very well, has a solid midrange jumper and is proving to be an instinctive shot blocker.
"I think I did pretty good, but I need to get used to the conditioning again," Bragg said following the end of Saturday's action. "I was a little nervous for the first game, but once the ball is tipped up, it was just the same as any game."
Bragg has seen interest from college coaches grow rapidly throughout summer and early fall. West Virginia has extended a scholarship offer and programs from the A-10, Big East, Big 10 and others have made visits to the Cleveland school.
"Louisville came last week," Bragg told Cardinal Authority. "Some of the others recent ones are Illinois, West Virginia, DePaul and Temple. There's a lot of coaches that have been coming by every week."
Last week, Cardinals assistant Kareem Richardson attended an open gym to watch Bragg play. On Friday, Bragg returned the visit.
"It was good," he said of his time on U of L's campus. "We went on a tour of everything and I met with the coaches."
Cleveland State, Iowa and Xavier are among the others showing an early interest.
Bragg says the recruiting attention "feels great," but that he remains focused on his play.
"I worked really hard this summer on improving. I know that I have to keep working hard to get to where I want to be."
The Lucas Invitation concludes on Sunday at Hoops in Louisville.
