Cardinals roll over Pikeville 93-57

The second-ranked University of Louisville men's basketball team earned an easy exhibition win over a much smaller University of Pikeville team on Thursday night. The Cardinals had four in double figures and rolled 93-57.

In his first college action, University of Louisville freshman Montrezl Harrell was fantastic as the Cardinals rolled over Pikeville 93-57.

Harrell hit 9 of 11 from the field and finished with 19 points, 13 rebounds and three blocked shots in 25 minutes of action.

Senior point guard Peyton Siva had 17 points, six assists, three steals, two rebounds and just three turnivers in 24 minutes.

Russ Smith added 17 points, while Gorgui Dieng had 16 points and 12 rebounds.

The Cardinals played without Chane Behanan and Kevin Ware, who were both sitting out because of suspensions. Ware is expected back next Wednesday for an exhibition against Bellarmine, while Behanan could be back for the Nov. 11 opener against Manhattan.
