Cards will play at Boise State next season

The Big East Conference released its home and away schedules for the 2013 college football season on Tuesday and the University of Louisville is headed for a game on the blue turf. The Cardinals will play four home games and four away games, including at Boise State on the blue turf.

In its final season in the Big East Conference, the University of Louisville will have to play at what will likely be the toughest place in the league.

The Cardinals will play four road games next season, including a game at conference newcomer Boise State. The Big East announced its home and away schedules for next season on Tuesday.

U of L will likely be the preseason favorite, while Boise State is joining the league and could also be ranked in the preseason top 25.

The Cardinals played at Boise in the 1999 Humanitarian Bowl.

Louisville is in the East Division and will also play at Cincinnati, Connecticut and South Florida.

The conference home games will be Rutgers and newcomers Central Florida, Memphis, Rutgers and San Diego State.

The dates and times for games will be released at a later time.
