Just before the Christmas holidays, the University of Louisville football team had a surprise visitor on one of the recruiting weekends.
Three-star safety Darius Curry came to check out the campus and on Tuesday U of L coach Charlie Strong will pay a visit to Curry.
The standout from Flowery Branch, Ga., High School has already committed to Oklahoma State but expects Strong tomorrow and said he will have a "tough decision" before signing day next month.
"I love Oklahoma State," Curry said. "But I really like everything about Louisville. I am still committed to Oklahoma State but I like Louisville a whole lot. It's pretty much just a process and I have to think long and hard about it."
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Curry is visiting Oklahoma State this weekend. His brother, C.J. plays at Oklahoma State.
Curry played at Flowery Branch with U of L commitment Chandler Bridges.
He said Strong is coming and he's sure the coach will hit on some of the pros and cons between the two schools. There are no other schools involved.
"I know a big point is going to be about coach (Vance) Bedford and all the success he's had with defensive backs," Curry said. "He's one of the best out there and coach Strong is just such a defensive-minded coach.
"I just have to do what's right for me."
