Clark had "great" visit with Louisville

Linebacker Lyn Clark of New Orleans made an official visit at Louisville over the weekend and spoke with Cardinal Authority prior to leaving the Derby City.

One-time Tulane commitment, linebacker Lyn Clark made his official visit with the University of Louisville over the weekend.

"I had a great time," he told Cardinal Authority on Sunday morning.

Clark (New Orleans O. Perry Walker), who was hosted by Cardinal linebacker Preston Brown over the weekend, enjoyed his time visiting the campus, football facilities and getting to know head coach Charlie Strong.

"I like Coach Strong a lot. He's a regular guy who can hang out with the players. He loves defense."

While he was impressed by his time, Clark boarded his plane home without making a decision on his future school.

"I didn't commit or anything," he explained. "I'll most likely be making my decision on signing day."

Clark has narrowed his options to three, with Louisville, Louisiana Tech and Tulane as his finalists.

An All-State performer, Clark registered 111 tackles, nine sacks, nine forced fumbles and two interceptions as a senior.
