Stacy Thomas signs with Louisville

The University of Louisville added a 17th member to the Class of 2013, signing Miami Gulliver Prep defensive end Stacy Thomas on Sunday.

With the passing of National Signing Day, three-star defensive end Stacy Thomas (6'3, 235) is among the few prospects remaining that was still searching for a college.

On Sunday, Thomas found a fit.

Thomas, who is ranked among the nation's top 100 defensive ends by Scout.com, has signed to play for the University of Louisville.

Thomas had 20 tackles for a loss in each of his final two seasons at Gulliver Prep.

Louisville now has eight players from the state of Florida in the recruiting class.

More to come.
