Softball travels to top-ranked Oklahoma

The 11th-ranked University of Louisville Cardinals softball program will face it's toughest test of the season this weekend when it visits top-ranked Oklahoma in weekend series.

The University of Louisville softball team will take it's national ranking and 25-4 record on the road this weekend. The 11th-ranked Cardinals travel to Norman, Oklahoma to face the top-ranked Sooners.

Louisville will play a three-games series against Oklahoma, beginning with a double-header on Friday.

The Cardinals, who have notched victories over nationally-ranked North Carolina, Michigan and LSU, will face their toughest test of the season against the Sooners. OU has won 10 straight, including seven straight shutouts.

Led by junior Katie Keller's .484 batting average, which ranks 14th nationally, Louisville ranks 10th in the nation with a .336 team batting average. Against Oklahoma, the Cardinals hot bats will face the nation's toughest pitching tandem, which boasts a 0.67 team ERA.

Oklahoma leads the all-time series 4-2.
