Cards focused for Elite Eight tilt with Duke

INDIANAPOLIS – It's Louisville vs. Duke for a chance to go the Final Four. The two teams will meet on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium in the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight game of the Midwest Region. It's a rematch from Nov. 24 when Duke beat U of L 76-71 in the title game of the Battle 4 Atlantis Shootout in the Bahamas.

The Cardinals were without center Gorgui Dieng in that game. It was his first game on the sidelines with a wrist injury.

U of L (32-5) come into the game on a nation-best 13-game winning streak since falling at Notre Dame in five overtimes on Feb. 9.

Duke is 30-5 and it's the first meeting in the NCAA Tournament between Rick Pitino and Mike Krzyzewski since the famous Christian Laettner buzzer-beater that lifted Duke past Kentucky where Pitino coached then in the 1992 Elite Eight.

Tip time is set for 5:05 p.m.
