With the University of Louisville basketball program fresh off a national championship, the fans will get an opportunity this weekend to see four players who will be on the roster next season.
"I'm excited," Gill said. "This is going to be a lot of fun. I know the fans are great here and I am looking forward to the game."
Gill, a 6-foot-4 guard from North Carolina, played his final season at Chatham, Va., Hargrave Military Academy. He is one of three top guards coming into the program on scholarship next season, along with Terry Rozier and Chris Jones.
Rozier was the MVP of the Derby Classic last year and couldn't play a second year, while Jones is the top junior-college player in the country.
The 6-foot-9 Agau is a four-time state champion from Omaha, Neb., Central High School and also signed with the Cardinals last fall.
Levitch and Avare are two of the top shooters in the state of Kentucky. Levitch was an All-Eighth Region performer from North Oldham, while Avare was a standout at Lexington Catholic.
All four are on the White team for Friday night.
The Night of the Future Stars will be on Thursday at Floyd Central High School, featuring a three-point contest and dunk contest.
Admission to the Night of the Future Stars is free if fans have a ticket to the Derby Festival Classic. Tickets for the Classic are $11 for students and $16 for adults and can be purchased at all area TicketMaster locations or at the Freedom Hall box office.
Cardinal Authority will have stories on all four U of L players.
