"It's going well," McBride said of the recruiting process. "It's picking up pretty fast for me."
This week, Louisville became the latest to offer McBride.
"Coach Moore came by last Friday and then after the weekend my coach told me to give them a call on Monday," he explained. "They offered me and I was kind of shocked because I wasn't expecting it."
"I was very surprised," he continued. "I was very excited, but I stayed level-headed. I didn't want to be over dramatic about it, but I was very happy when I received it."
Central Florida, FIU, Florida State, Kentucky, Ohio and South Florida have also offered.
Rated as a three-star prospect by Scout.com, McBride will certainly add to his list of scholarship offers during the coming weeks. He claims no favorites and is in no rush to make his college choice.
"I don't know when I'm going to do," he said. "I'm not going to wait to long, but I don't want to commit early. I want to be able to see where the recruiting will take me. I want to be able to make sure that this is the best decision for me."
