Rated as the No.33 defensive tackle prospect in the country by Scout.com, Middleton's scholarship offer list has continued to grow. Louisville extended an offer during spring after watching him work and others including, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri and Western Kentucky have done similar.
"I'm thankful that the those schools think that much about me and I really appreciate it," said Middleton.
The 6-foot-4, 275-pound lineman is also keeping busy showing off his abilities. He's recently camped at Kentucky and Vanderbilt.
Middleton, who will camp at Louisville this weekend, made an unofficial visit with the Cardinal program on Monday.
"I talked to Coach Strong and Coach Carter," said Middleton. "It was nice. We talked about the campus, the players and things like that."
With interest continuing to climb, Middleton isn't in a position to claim any favorites at this point.
"I couldn't really say right now," he said.
The Scout.com three-star prospect does anticipate making his college choice later this year.
"I'm going to make my decision before the season starts," said Middleton.
As a junior, Middleton totaled 59 tackles for South Warren.
