Another Bolin on the Louisville radar

Clay Bolin watched his older brother, Kyle, go through the recruiting process before signing with the University of Louisville. Now, the younger Bolin is starting to get college interest. He camped recently at Louisville and has other interest.

The Bolin family is back at it.

Kyle Bolin, a four-star quarterback from Lexington Catholic is a freshman at the University of Louisville. Now, younger brother – Clay – is starting to get attention.

Clay Bolin is a 6-foot-1, 165-pound quarterback who attends Lexington Lafayette and is a member of the Class of 2016.

Bolin camped last weekend at the University of Louisville and is also set to camp at Kentucky, Tennessee, Cincinnati and Western Kentucky this summer.

"The feedback has been good so far," Bolin said. "The (Louisville) coaches just told me to keep working hard and that I needed to get bigger and stronger.

"It's a lot of fun for me right now."

While at U of L's camp, Bolin was first put with the freshmen and sophomores only later to be moved up to participate with the juniors and seniors. He said he threw three touchdowns and no interceptions, only two incompletions, during the 7-on-7 competition at the camp.

Bolin made a splash recently at the IMG 7-on-7 regional qualifier in Knoxville, Tenn., and this weekend will compete in the IMG7v7 National Championship in Bradenton, Fla., at the IMG Academy.

"I made the top 10 performance list at the regional," Bolin said.

Bolin said he currently has no offers but is "intrigued," by Louisville because of the rise in the program and his brother being on the roster.

"I like the chemistry I have seen with the coaches and the players there," Bolin said. "I just like it there. But I still need to get better and that's all I am worried about right now. I just need to improve."
