The two have celebrated with their teammates, talked about the season and their careers with members of the media countless times and all the while have been training for the NBA Draft.
On Thursday, Dieng and Siva expect to hear their names called.
Dieng, who left U of L after his junior season, is expected to be a first-round pick in the NBA Draft that will be held in New York. Siva expects to hear his name called somewhere in the second round.
"(The NBA folks) can't believe how nice and how genuine both of those guys are," U of L coach Rick Pitino said recently. "They're both going to be fine professionals. Peyton just has to find the right team."
The 6-foot-11 Dieng worked out for the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday. The Nets have the 22nd pick in the draft that is Thursday night.
Dieng is likely to be gone by the time the Nets pick. Atlanta has picks 17 and 18 and are likely to take him with one of those picks, according to most mock drafts, but the Bulls also like Dieng and have the 20th pick.
Siva has been mentioned as a second-round pick in many mock drafts. Siva has worked out for at least 10 teams in recent weeks.
"I just want a chance somewhere," Siva said in a recent interview.
