OL Danny Burns commits to Louisville

Danny Burns of Fairfield (OH) Freshman visited Louisville on Thursday and left as a committed Cardinal. The 3-star prospect becomes Louisville's second pledge of the day.

It's been a great week for Louisville football's recruiting efforts. On Thursday afternoon, Head Coach Charlie Strong accepted the fourth commitment of the week.

Offensive lineman Danny Burns of Fairfield (OH) Freshman visited Louisville on Thursday and committed to the Cardinals. He also visited Louisville for its Spring Game in April.

The 6-foot-7, 300-pound tackle chose Louisville over offers from Maryland, Michigan State, Nebraska, Pittsburgh, West Virginia and others.

Burns, rated as the nation's No.56 offensive tackle and a three-star prospect by Scout.com, becomes the 18th commitment for the Class of 2014. He's the fourth pledge from the State of Ohio.
