Ivan Rabb lands an offer from Louisville

One of the top five prospects nationally in the Class of 2015, Ivan Rabb has added another offer to his list. Rabb has landed a scholarship offer from Louisville coach Rick Pitino.

One day after putting on a show with University of Louisville coach Rick Pitino watching, top 2015 power forward Ivan Rabb reports a scholarship offer from the Cardinals is on the table.

The 6-foot-9, 220-pound Rabb is from Oakland, Calif., and plays for the Oakland Soldiers. He was playing in the Las Vegas Classic this week and has been tracked by the U of L coaches, including Pitino who watched him on Thursday.

Rabb mentioned on Thursday that U of L was one of the schools that hadn't offered him that he was interested in learning more about. Now, the Cardinals have joined the list of offers.

"Coach Pitino is a great coach and they have one of the best programs in the country," Rabb said.

Rabb is ranked as the No. 3 player nationally i the class by Scout.com. Among the other schools with offers out to Rabb: Arizona, UCLA, USC, California, Connecticut, Arizona State, Kansas, Ohio State, Stanford, UNLV and N.C. State.

Rabb has helped the Oakland Soldiers to a 3-0 record heading into Saturday's tournament play at the Las Vegas Classic.

U of L assistant coach Wyking Jones has been recruiting Babb for a few months.

The offer is at least the 15th one out for players in the Class of 2015 by U of L.
