Jonah Bolden is the hot name in the recruiting world.
The Australian forward is headed to Henderson, Nev., Findlay Prep School this year after making a name for himself at the adidas Nations event recently in Los Angeles. He's a member of the Class of 2014.
Bolden said his father, Bruce, has been fielding a lot of calls from colleges. Among the colleges showing the most interest if the University of Louisville.
The Cardinals have been on contact since earlier this summer, have extended the 6-foot-9, 200-pound Bolden an offer and figure to be among the schools that Bolden will take a closer look at before making a decision.
"We have had positive discussions with Louisville so far with more to come," said Bolden's father, Bruce. He added that he hopes to hear more "about the school academically and the Cardinals basketball program plans for 2014."
Bolden has not made any official dates for visits.
A native of Sydney, Australia, Jonah Bolden helped lead his club team to a second-place finish at the Australian 18U Junior Championships. He averaged 16.7 points, 7.2 rebounds and hit 65 percent from the field at adidas Nations.
Bolden's father, Bruce, played at Boise State from 1981-85 and then spent 17 years playing in Australia's NBL professional league. He retired in 2004 and ranked in the all-time top 10 in six categories during his time at Boise State.
Other schools showing the most interest include: Washington, Michigan and LSU. A bunch of other schools are now getting involved.
