Cinmeon Bowers, one of the top junior-college prospects in the country, will make three official visits before making a college decision.
One of those visits will be to the defending national champion University of Louisville.
The 6-foot-7, 260-pound Bowers is making his first visit this weekend to Memphis and then will visit Florida State in two weeks.
Now, he's also set up the visit to U of L and will be on campus the weekend of Sept. 27.
Bowers told Cardinal Authority this week that the Cardinals are "for sure in the mix" with the other two schools for his services.
U of L started recruiting Bowers in July when Balado saw him at the Mullen's Top 100 JUCO Camp in St. Charles, Mo. U of L coach Rick Pitino then watched Bowers the following week at a JUCO event in Atlanta.
Bowers has been compared to current U of L payer Chane Behanan, except with a little more skill, and Chipola coach Patrick Blake – a former manager at U of L for Pitino – said he "would agree with that assessment."
Cardinal Authority will keep you posted on the Bowers recruitment.
U of L now has four official visits confirmed with players, including Trey Lyles and Chinanu Onuaku next weekend and Jaylen Johnson on Sept. 20.
