Parker went out of Saturday's 30-7 win over Temple in the second quarter with a shoulder injury and missed the rest of the contest. On the American Athletic Conference teleconference on Monday, U of L coach Charlie Strong said a decision on his playing status for Thursday would likely come at game time.
"Right now, DeVante Parker is day-to-day and then we will make a decision on him for the game," Strong said, noting Parker has been getting treatment.
Strong also said injured lineman Nacho Garcia and linebacker Keith Brown had "already been in for treatment," on Monday and are also day-to-day.
Parker had two catches for 44 yards, including a 38-yard reception where he was tackled and had his shoulder jammed into the ground at the end of the play in the win over the Owls.
A former All-State player at Ballard High School, Parker has 21 catches for 375 yards and six touchdowns on the season. He had a streak of 10 consecutive games with a touchdown catch snapped in the game.
U of L also played without starting right guard Kamron Joyer, who didn't make the trip to Philadelphia because of discipline reasons and fullback B.J. Butler for undisclosed reasons.
Joyer and Butler are expected back on Thursday.
