Cards offer top '15 tight end

The University of Louisville football staff has offered one of the top tight ends nationally in the Class of 2015. Cardinal Authority checks in with Columbia, Tenn., Central tight end Jackson Harris.

The University of Louisville is among nine schools with offers already on the table for Class of 2015 tight end Jackson Harris.

The 6-foot-5, 240-pound junior is ranked as the No. 11 tight end in the country among the '15 prospects by Scout.com.

Harris said he has offers from U of L, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Georgia, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Clemson, Memphis and Mississippi State.

"I've been in touch with coach Moore for a while," Harris said of U of L's tight ends coach Sherrone Moore. "I talk to him a lot."

Harris has two older brothers who are kickers at the Division I level – Robert Harris at Purdue and Chris Harris at Tennessee.

Harris, who will make a visit to Georgia this weekend, is hoping to make a trip to Louisville sometime during the offseason.

Cardinal Authority will keep you posted on his recruitment.
