Future QB watches Cards get win No. 10

The University of Louisville football team hosted a few visitors during the Cardinals' 24-17 win over Memphis on Saturday. One of those players was quarterback commitment Ross Trail.

Olive Branch, Miss., quarterback Ross Trail made his second visit to watch the University of Louisville play on Saturday.

Trail, a member of the Class of 2015 and a commitment to U of L, was in a group of about 10 players visiting Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Trail was also at PJCS for the opener against Ohio University.

"I always love going back to Louisville," Trail said. "It was a little slow offensively, but it was a win. I enjoyed seeing and visiting with all of the coaches."

Trail, who moved to Mississippi from Arkansas in January, had a sensational season for the Conquistadors, who finished 7-5.

Trail, who is one of two '15 commitments for the Cardinals, said he would come back to U of L this summer for camp.
