U of L signees start off strong

University of Louisville basketball signees Quentin Snider and Chinanu Onuaku have started their senior seasons on a high note. Cardinal Authority has the latest on the two future U of L basketball players.

University of Louisville basketball signees Quentin Snider and Chinanu Onuaku have started the senior year of high school strong.

Snider, a point guard, has 60 points in his first two games of the season for Ballard High School. He had 32 on Monday against Scott County and added 28 on Tuesday against Seneca.

The 6-foot-1 Snider was 4 of 6 from three-point range against Scott County, while hitting 4 of 7 three-pointers against Seneca.

Onuaku has 29 points, 27 rebounds, nine blocked shots and eight assists in his first two games for Upper Marlboro, Md., Riverdale Baptist.

Jaylen Johnson and Shaqquan Aaron will begin their seasons next week.
