Six prospects will be making an official visit with the University of Louisville football program this weekend as the Cardinals begin preparations for the Russell Athletic Bowl.
Five of the six visitors have already committed to the Cardinals, while the lone uncommitted prospect expected is Iowa Western Community College defensive end Trevon Young.
The 6-foot-4, 235-pound Young had been committed to Western Michigan but has recently de-committed and picked up offers from U of L, Iowa, Arkansas and Mississippi.
Young will visit Ole Miss before he heads to Louisville later this week.
"I'm pretty sure after the visits next week I'll be able to make my decision after that," Young told HawkeyeInsider.com. "Everything is just coming at me really quick in the last few days. It's hard not to get caught up in it all.
"But I just need to take a step back and look at it from all perspectives. Then, I need to make a good decision."
Also visiting this weekend will be Jacksonville, Fla., Trinity Christian wide receiver Isaiah Ford and offensive lineman Kavaris Harkless.
Ford and Harkless are coming off a state championship victory last weekend in Florida.
Marion, Ohio, Harding running back L.J. Scott, Fort Pierce, Fla., Central defensive end Rashawn Shaw and Fishers, Ind., Hamilton Southeastern wide receiver Cameron Polk are also visiting this weekend.
Harkless, Polk and Scott are expected to enroll in January, while Shaw has also said he wants to try and enroll next month.
