JUCO lineman expected to visit Louisville

The University of Louisville football staff is looking at several junior college players in the Class of 2014. One of those, offensive lineman Miguel Machado, tells Cardinal Authority that he plans on making a visit next month.

Miguel Machado is a junior-college prospect from Pasadena, Calif., College who has over 20 scholarship offers.

The 6-foot-6, 295-pound Machado has already visited Marshall and Washington State. He told Cardinal Authority on Monday night that he also plans on visiting Louisville and Michigan State in January before making a decision.

Machado said U of L has been in the mix for a month or two and "I will visit there."

A former Miami Carol City High School prospect, Machado is set to graduate this month and he will have three years to play two.

Among the other offers on the table for Machado are Illinois, Purdue, Colorado State, Arkansas State and New Mexico.
