U of L signee tracker: Quentin Snider

University of Louisville signee Quentin Snider finished his illustrious career at Ballard High School on Tuesday night. Snider finishes his career at Ballard as the school's all-time leading scorer and also first in assists in school history.

He was named the MVP of the King of the Bluegrass Holiday Classic and also named the Seventh Region Player of the Year. He's also a finalist for Kentucky Mr. Basketball and will play in the Kentucky Derby Festival Classic on April 18 at Freedom Hall.

As a senior, Snider averaged 21.9 points, six assists, four rebounds and two steals a game. He finished his four-year career at Ballard with school-records in points (2,441), assists (637) and three-point field goals (337). Including his eighth-grade year at Fern Creek, Snider finishes with over 2,600 points, 700 assists and 375 three-point field goals made.

Snider finishes his five-year career with 371 total three-pointers, which ranks him third in state history according to the KHSAA state record book. Ty Rogers had 407 from 199-2004 at Lyon County and Ryan Cochran had 398 from 1998-02 at Paducah St. Mary.

The Louisville signee helped Ballard to a 29-6 record and just two in-state losses.

Snider will enroll at U of L this spring.
